Saturday in San Diego

Today we went to downtown San Diego and visited the USS Midway (Aircraft Carrier). Really neat!  Thank you Dan and Lizzie for being great hosts.  Joseph and I had a blast with you and your cute little boys.

This is a federal prison right in downtown San Diego.  Pretty crazy.  I've never heard of such a thing, until now.

Thanksgiving in San Diego

Joseph and I decided to drive out to Lizzie's place in San Diego for Thanksgiving. We've been having fun out here enjoying the beautiful weather and the great company, especially the two little boys.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn on the cob, stuffing, rolls, and pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting and ice cream.  What a feast!

The men doing the dishes after dinner.  Actually Dan and Elizabeth spent hours and hours preparing the feast, so it was the least we could do.
