Med Cruise - Day 5 - Pompey & Capri

We started out the day with a visit to the city of Pompey

Our guide (Claudia) telling us about all the people who died in Pompey
Little statue in the shower room at Pompey
On our way to catch a boat to the island of Capri
On the boat to Capri
Mom and Dad taking advantage of the 20-minute ride to Capri
Overlooking the little town on Capri
Mckenzie and I went with our guide to the backside of the island.
Recognize those two rocks? I've seen them in pictures before, but I didn't know they were at Capri.
The gardens on the backside of Capri

Jon and Bonnie didn't make it on our tram back to the boat
So they had to wait for the next one
Have I said "Capri" enough yet? This is the little tram that took us back down the hillside to the boat that would take us away from Capri.

Isn't it Pompeii? Those two cities at the base of Mt. Vesuvius (Pompeii and Herculaneum) had such a brutal demise! So sad. Do they not do tours through the remains of Herculaneum? Or are those not as interesting?
